This Saturday, November 9th, is the second Saturday of the month; therefore, the library will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We always associate turkeys with November, but if you are tired of turkeys, this is also owling season. Here is a link to an article about owls that you might enjoy reading: https://blog.nature.org/2019/11/16/owling-a-field-guide-to-finding-winter-owls/ . Here at the library, you also can make an owl or take an owl craft kit home with you. Finally, all you need to do is ask to have a book about owls read to or with you.

There is still time to come to the library and look for a Halloween book to read. We hope to see you at the library during Trunk or Treat on the Virginia Square from 5:30 to 7:00 pm this Friday, October 25, or you can stop by the library before or during your own Trick or Treating adventure on Thursday, October 31 as we are open until 6:00 pm on the 31st. We would love to have any trick or treaters stop by.
