The Virginia Memorial Public Library will be closed this morning (December 14th) due to icy conditions. However we will be open next Saturday morning, December 21st, (weather permitting) if you want to listen to some Christmas books and have a little hot chocolate. Remember even the Grinch couldn’t stop Christmas from coming.
This Saturday, December 14th, is the second Saturday of the month; therefore, the Virginia Memorial Library will be open from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. We will be reading a couple of Christmas books aloud starting at 10:00 am. There also will be a Christmas wreath craft for children to do, and we will have hot chocolate and cookies as well. Hope to see you on Saturday.
Christmas Around the Square
The Virginia Memorial Public Library will be open at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 6 to participate in Christmas Around the Square. There will be a couple of vendors here, and activities for children of all ages to do, or you can just come in to warm up and visit.
Kids can make a Christmas tree craft . . .
. . . and color a Christmas picture for the residents of Walker’s Nursing Home.
